Wires

  • A wire transfer is the quickest way to move funds between financial institutions

  • Wires must be sent to a US financial institution or an international affiliate

  • Wires can be sent for any amount using collected funds

  • Wire fee will be accessed

  • Domestic wires sent before 2:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday) in most cases will be received that day

  • International wires must be sent before 11:00 a.m.

Outgoing Wires

Members need to provide ISU Federal Credit Union with:

  1. Receiving bank name, address, phone number, and ABA number

  2. Correspondent Bank Information if applicable

  3. Name, address, and account number of the person receiving the funds

  4. Dollar amount of the wire

Notary Services

As a member of Indiana State University Federal Credit Union, we will notarize your documents at no charge.


Foreign Currency

Indiana State University Federal Credit Union offers foreign currency services. This convenient, safe, and secure service allows our members to purchase foreign currency without paying excessive fees from airports or overseas. We DO NOT exchange foreign currency.

Foreign Currency Buying and Delivery

Orders may be placed in-person Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Orders placed before 3 p.m. ET will be delivered within 1-2 business days. Please take the Credit Union's holiday schedule into consideration when placing your order.

Money Orders

Money Orders can be issued for any amount up to $1,000 and must be purchased in-person with available funds. A $2.50 fee is charged for each money order.


ACH Origination

Indiana State University Federal Credit Union offers ACH (Automated Clearing House). This is a quick way of transmitting money electronically from one financial institution to another. It can be used to process regular recurring payments such as credit cards or loan payments. ACH is the "middleman" between financial institutions.

  • Incoming ACH transactions - NO FEE

  • Outgoing ACH transactions - $5 per transaction

  • ACH transfers require a signed authorization

  • Recurring transactions, one-time transactions, and 'upon request' transactions are available

  • Funds sent by ACH are available the next business day after the transaction is sent


Safe Deposit Boxes

Protect your valuable documents and possessions with our secure Safe Deposit Boxes, offering peace of mind and 24/7 protection for your most important items. Safe Deposit Boxes are rented annually based on the size of box (see table below). The fee is debited from the member's account automatically. Contents of Safe Deposit Boxes are not NCUA insured.

National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Maximum Share Insurance Protection

  • Deposit accounts at the Indiana State University Federal Credit Union are federally insured up to $250,000

  • Coverage is determined by the ownership of the account

  • Individual accounts are insured for an aggregate total of $250,000

  • Joint accounts are insured for an additional aggregate total of $250,000

  • IRA accounts, as well as Revocable Trusts, are insured separately for the same amount

  • Joint owners do not have to be married to receive coverage benefits

Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)

Indiana State University Federal Credit Union wants to help protect your family, and as an account holder age 18 or older, you are automatically:

  • Eligible for $1,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance Coverage paid for you by Indiana State University Federal Credit Union

  • Pre-authorized for additional coverage up to $300,000¹

  • Guaranteed acceptance

  • No medical exams or health questions

  • Insured through Federal Insurance Company, a Chubb Company
